Austin Varco is a 25-year-old American racing driver from San Diego, California, competing across NASCAR weekly racing, Spec Miata, and endurance sports-car racing. Through Race4Autism, he uses motorsports as a platform to promote autism acceptance, challenge stigmas, and build greater understanding around neurodivergence.

Team Reaume has announced that Austin Varco will make his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut on June 19 at Naval Base Coronado! The race will be live on Fox/FS1, and if you live in the San Diego area, you can get tickets to attend. Check out the story for more!

A San Diego Champion

Austin will be racing a full schedule through 2026 in the NASCAR Weekly Spec Late Model series with Special Needz Coffee as a primary sponsor, joined by Environmental Law Group, Soulkal Business Apparel, Benson Law LLP, Holding the Hope, Weis Environmental, Excel Together, Best S.T.E.P. Forward, SanPario, Haag Performance, Tiger Lilly Creative Group, and more. Austin will also be racing part time in Spec Miata and World Racing League!

Autism Advocacy

Austin is the first openly-diagnosed autistic driver in his series and he plans to achieve many more firsts in the months and years ahead. Along the way, he is using his racing career as a platform to educate, change stigmas, and create a network of empathy around Autism Spectrum Disorder.
