Race team PT Autosport revealed its 2nd round of due diligence towards its inaugural Aspiring Driver Shootout, nominating 88 to continue towards a final elimination round from a total applicant pool of 888. Austin Varco, 22, will move forward towards the final round, and ultimately fighting for a chance at over $100,000 and a two-year partnership with PT Autosport.

The Aspiring Driver Shootout will be held at New Jersey Motorsports Park (Thunderbolt) in Millville, NJ.  Arrive at 7pm on Monday, November 7, 2022 at the selected hotel near NJMP.  The 2022 Aspiring Driver Shootout will conclude with an awards dinner held on the evening of Wednesday, November 9, 2022.
